Warrel WIP

At last, the FINAL OC from my Buffy "spin-off", Leo the Vampire Slayer ... and once more it's one of the Big Bads. Indeed while Dominique is the lead villain of the story, this guy here is the BIGGEST Bad ...

Really, he's a properly nasty piece of work. Obviously he's a demon, and indeed species-wise he's actually even a distant cousin to Leo's BF Jim ... but they couldn't be more different if they tried. Warrel (assumed name, I won't give away the real one JUST YET ... ) is pure evil through and through, in the service of great and terrible Dark Forces (TM ... ), and Dominique and Silas' main connection to the larger evil plot. He's super-powerful, massively strong, a ferocious fighter and wickedly intelligent, proper deadly all round really ... so no doubt the first Leo tries to fight him she must get her arse royally KICKED ...

He was a proper fun challenge to create, visually at least - I wanted to have at least a vague connection to Jim, as if he could be a kind of dark mirror image, an indication of how Jim COULD have gone ... a sort of Angelus to his Angel, perhaps ... anyway, I made him a big more physically imposing, certainly a lot more feral and brutal, like a proper badass, and I think I pulled it off. I had particular fun with the colour work on the scars - even so they're in a transition phase, once I get to the finished colours they'll be a lot more impressive.

Anyway, now I can finally get going on the finished artwork ...
