Nemo 'stealth mode'

Boy, I haven't posted in AGES, have I? Sorry about that, guys ... I HAVE been busy, I just haven't really gotten anything done that'll be showing up on here ... at least outside of THIS piece. Anyway, this was mostly just posted to show I ain't dead ... yet. This is another piece of design work for my Nightlife Mythos comic book project "Turncoat", starring my NM alter ego (of sorts) Nemo, the baddest badass in all of the Supernatural world ( well, just about, anyways). I've been wanting to "extend" my boy's wardrobe for a while, and while I've been working on the plotting/structure-work for the writing part of this project it suddenly occurred to me that I hadn't addressed this particular part of his "uniform".

Anyways ... so far you've seen his "nomad gear", basically the battered, road-worn stuff he wear when he's moving from place to places, and his (at this point still really pretty intermediate, design-wise) full-on battle armour ... but this is his "stealth mode" costume, basically what he wears when he needs to go all "ninja" on some bad guys' arses. So this is all decked out in various shades of black and dark grey, and he's armed/armoured for stealth, agility and ease of movement over protection. Hence the minimal plating (here it's a "blood steel"/kevlar mix) for a start, the gear's actually been pieced together over the years (hence the more modern look to a lot of it), and he only carries the most essential blades. Admittedly sometimes he'll also carry his traditional Fury scimitar strapped to his back, but I didn't bother drawing that - he doesn't always use it.

This IS still a design in progress, there'll likely be some tweaking here and there, but I'm sorely tempted to used this in the next Nemo pinup/ID/whatsit, so watch this space as always ...
