Katya's henchmen/footstools/punching-bags are a pretty good example of your classic young blood Shadowbloods - in other words about as close as Nocturnals can come to a classic vampire. They can't go out in sunlight, they're cold-blooded like corpses (and their blood's black, with the consistency of treacle, like it's coagulated), they're carnivorous like the rest but tend to prefer drinking blood to eating flesh for their high-protein sustenance. In other words, these Nocturnals are where the Dracula legend came from.

The guy on the left, Joseph Earl Loeb, is the deep-thinker of the pair, morose, broody and introverted. He's a big-time bruiser, but dangerously smart with it. His Billy Idol-aping friend Sieger Leopald is the mouth of the pair - in fact he never shuts up, never takes anything seriously. He's a bit of a twat really, but that doesn't mean he's not also just as dangerous as Loeb, or even Katya for that matter. She just has the pair of them following her like lovestruck puppies, totally wrapped around her little finger ...
