Fell Tursah, Jedi turned Sith

Some should remember that for a little while now me and my friend have been involved in a kind of impromptu design "battle" where we're coming up with our own Star Wars OCs. Well here's PART ONE of my round three offering, this time revolving around Sith. This one's kind of a dual creative exercise, really - I've been wanting to come up with a few decent villains to put up against my Rebellion Era smuggler crew, and I wanted to come up with somebody properly, seriously BADASS as a Sith, so here goes ...

This is Fell Tursah, who actually started out as a Jedi padawan around the rise of the Galactic Empire. She was out fighting with her mentor, Jedi Knight Joren Kurn, when their clone troopers turned on them, and they were only just able to get away. Being right out on the Rim, they had a long return journey ahead of them, so they were still some way out when the warning signal from Obi-Wan Kenobi got to them, and they went into hiding. When the Purge began they fled, only to be tracked down by one of the Emperor's Hands, a nasty cyborg piece of work called Haradda. After a desperate, messy chase culminating in a pretty big battle on Hoth, Kurn fell to Haradda, while Fell was badly wounded defending her master. Haradda was ready to finish her off, but at the last moment stopped ... whether it was a moment of uncharacteristic mercy or something more calculating, the cyborg has never let on, but instead it took Fell back to Coruscant, got her patched up and, under the guidance of Palpatine himself, began an intensive program of training/brainwashing to turn her into a Sith warrior. Once her "apprenticeship" was complete she helped in the Purge, hunting down and killing Jedi she once counted as her friends and betters ... and then turned her sights on fighting against the Rebels ...

Fell's been an interesting, challenging character to design, and I'll admit maybe I got a bit overly enthusiastic with the final costume (), but while it might look bulky it's still perfectly functional (it'll be clearer when you see her in action ). She's also kind of descended from my Old Republic Jedi OC Kuma Jamis, being human and half Galathesten (Kuma's race), but for the most part they're VERY different characters ... meanwhile the "tattoos" are kind of a perversion of her "pigmentation" (like Kuma's bioluminescent markings) which manifested when she gave herself over to the Dark Side, as, of course, are her weird yellow irises. As for the lightsabers, the one on the right belonged to her master Kurn (although she obviously changed the crystal so now it's RED), while the one on the left is the one she manufactured herself - I'm playing with the established idea here that a Jedi often models their lightsaber, at least in part, on that of their master ...

Anyways, there'll be at least one more Sith on the way (Fell's not the ONLY Dark Sider hunting my smuggler crew ), and I'll probably come up with a design for Haradda at some point too ...
