I've begun to think, fairly recently, about exactly if putting my vamps/angels/demons in the anthro category is really right. After all, half of them look (mostly) human, so putting Amanda here in there does seem a little ... odd, maybe. I dunno. Personally I've always considered anthro to be as in "anthropomorphic personification" - furry characters definitely fit this bill, but then so do humanesque characters who are nonetheless not really human. I don't put witches like Erzebet in there because they are, essentially, humans, just with magical powers. But Nocturnals (vamps) ... well, that's different. And you don't get much more "anthropomorphic" than an angel ...

;) Yeah, enough of that. I'm prob'ly gonna spark a massive debate now, but that was just my two cents. I'm quite pleased with this, but I'm still trying to work out exactly where I'm going with Amanda, look wise. She's a fashionista, but definitely of the alt bent. The dress screams Gothic, but part of me wants to make it white, just to shake things up a bit ...

You'll notice, if you recognise the character, that her wings are missing. I'm working on the mechanics at the moment, but I've decided that it would be best to have them only come out when she wants them to. The rest of the time they're "tucked away" somewhere. This'll get addressed at some point ...

And on a note concerning her wings, why is it that wings of an angel should always be grand, featherly, white and majestic? Might they be something more horrible? A force we may not perceive initially and holy simply because we don't understand, and why would we, being "only" humans.
